As I'm sure you are aware by now, Facebook users frantically logged on at 12:01am ET this morning to snatch up a vanity URL for their name, brand, or a desirable keyword they wanted to target. The old URLs still had the profile name present, i.e.
www.facebook.com/people/Brian-
Hancock/743482939 but the new vanity URLs leave out all of the extraneous information.
